Steven Stone

When Steven Stone talks about the Green Mountain Audio Diamante, we get him. His house is pyramid shaped, so of course he is going to like a speaker that is shaped, similarly. Not only that but the wood finish looks nice, to boot. We get green, being like money. We get Diamante. Gucci makes a nice ring. The cut of the woofer solid. The bass is a bit port.

When Corey Greenberg recommened the NHT 3.3, we got him. It was a great speaker whose appearance and cost were well in-line with it's fantastic solid performance. It was great, in fact.

When Steven Stone talks today about the Ressonance Audio Herus, we just don't get him. It's measured performance is terrible, and it's looks suck, despite being made locally, in Canada.

What we don't like about the Herus in particular, is the name conjugation of the thing. Headphone technology such as this is "otaku" or introverted, in an other manner, that it's unlikely that you'll find yourself with someone while you while away the hours.

For those looking for a solid companion to the angled looks of the Sennheiser HD800 headphone, and don't agree with the Sennheiser Solution [HDVD 800], the Auralic Gemini 2000 looks fantastic, paired.

It compliments the Sennheiser 800's angled lines, with it's curves, and though it's 4 pin port should be moved to the front, and the plugs fixed up - aesthetically, it's a solid device.

We like the way the 3.3 bites. Should you find one on Craigslist.com, you'll be delighted. It's not a bad bite.
