Shun Blue

For this year, we got ourselves three knives. The Meat Cleaver was despicable, but it had good weight in the hand.

The Veggie was better, we had already written about it, and it had a good pattern, on its side.

The Blue Kiritsuk was best, as we had a purpose - the slicing of a sole piece of  hollow chive, and then learning to use a knife.
Shun Classic Meat Cleaver, 6".
Shun Classic Cleaver Vegetable, 7".
This concludes our low-end journey. Truth be told, we also got another pairing.

If you want to protect your knives, get some Kussi knife savers. They're similar to the Rico Reed savers you'd be familiar with, were you a saxophonist.

We intend to use the Shun knife sharpeners to hammer on some Zilgians, as once you re-sharpen a knife, the original blade is gone, and the Belgians are already hammered.
