More Diabolical

The Gryphon Memphisto is Jeff Fritz's reference amplifier.

The Design is attractive, and yet not. Audiophiles will be familiar with the Memphisto waltz.

We covered Franz Liszt, and introduced Kamel Gekic earlier.

Franz List was a splendid composer, and we certainly liked Goethe's Faust.

The Mephisto is an exemplary child-like design, we would say. There is symmetry, but not super-symmetry. The fins resemble electrical symbols - a cross between a battery and an antenna.

The front upper plates are like the Horns of a Bull, you could say. The mid-panel, like a belt, only their are angled bits. It is a fully-integrated unit.

The interior coll um does not come out, nor does the front panel, like the remote of Flemming Rasmussen's Gryphon Pandora. (Mirage, we know).

We like the solid feet.
