Audeze LCD-X

The Audeze LCD-X are terrible headphones. They're a step below the LCD-3. There's no side-stepping the issue.

We listened to them with an Auralic VEGA DAC and Taurus Mk II Headphone Amplifier and they sounded like pure shit - nothing.

The Audeze LCD-3 are not great headphones, they are very nice. Coupled with an Audioquest Dragonfly DAC, they are satisfying, like a B&W Matrix 805 with a YBA 3 would be, were you in that era.

Why anyone would like the X is beyond us. Get yourself a can on AC/DC.

We like the Taurus. It's a bit ugly. Auralic has a lick, eh. Music composed with licks is nothing.
