Star Time

James's Brown's "Star Time" has a wonderful included booklet. It includes 4 CD's. For the collector, it's not Vinyl, but it is nice. There's a wonderful movie out now that's a bit psychotic, "Get On Up: The James Brown Story." that shows his meteoric rise.

People put down Bill Cosby for knocking on Black-on-Black gun fighting, and attempted murder. James Brown was largely innocent - a good guy, too - a mover and a shaker.

He goes beyond Lady Gaga. Her "Poker Face" and "Judas" music videos and dance songs, we find enlivining, and then she goes blunt, or more into the realm we find ourselves drawn to mentally criticize, purer than critique. We had hoped she would of gone further into the realm of the ego's development, as opposed to back to the club.
