Vancouver Audio Festival Review

Previously, we had awarded Best of Show (the BOS'niac award...) to Off-Site. Headphone Bar for the Hi Fi Man HE-1000 Headphone display.

There were no bad (poor sounding) rooms in the entire show. No bad looking ones, also... Even the Klipsch Heresy III Loudspeaker white room sounded good, more properly driven by tube (McIntosh) Amplification, as it should be.

It was really sad how Hi Fi Centre had to move from Stereo Row (Seymour) to aah East Van Vancouver. We had visited and noted the small rooms, critically, before. Though noisy (and terribly aah so) in their previous location (close to A+B Sound, Sam The Record Man (a aah Canadian Foundation Location), etc.) they at least had a Embassy Equivalent Room, after a previous er. Renovation!

Well done, men!

Upon entering, and noting them, we aah met Dick Diamond.

Now I must say that, on the day after (that is after ... day 2), we missed on visiting Vancouver's Own Liquid Sound for a Magic O eer. Demonstration.

This may have been because of our experience of being rejected by the Hotel Georgia the day previous, or perhaps of skipping a M0851 party.

I don't believe we could of fully done a wrap (up_) without properly ... considering the Magico A9 Loudspeaker ($10,000.00 USD / pair) as an alternative presentation.

We had visited (and tried to do a review) of the B&O Beosound 50 Loudspeaker ($50,000.00 CDN / pair) at Commercial Electronics. We wanted to buy a pair.

The '90 we found(or founded) poor sounding, but not with the Traditional Hi Fi Center (or Hi Fi Show) audio demonstrator Bass Track.

But no amount of asking would allow us to listen to Evengy Kissen, having a Fosters Lager with John Foster at Commercial Electronics (CE).

What a man.

Similar to one Roman Abromovich has on his er. Yaught (he has V2 in Quad Configuration for the EclipseR).
