Maison Michelle

Close to Diplomatic Immunity, which has closed, we found a beautiful store, which had an interesting woman's hat, in look to Hermes, in the window.

Sensing the size was small, but the hat, perfect, we tried on inside, the Henrietta. It had a M. And another M, smaller, on top. Multi-millions. That is interesting. It was missing the G. From MMG (Maybach Music Group). Not quite as nice as the VA (Vetran's Association) brand, we found earlier in the women's swimwear department of Holt Renfrew (a store give-away, with bikini).


The width of the brim, perfect. The size, perfect.

It was with linen, over a hat band.

The Blue colour model (model unknown, it's not shown on the Maison Michelle website), absolutely beautiful in the store window, as we were leaving.

I am not sure why we did not buy two hats that day. The Herschel Snap-Back (cheap) with the big circle, and the lovely Maison Michelle.

We are waiting for a Panama from M0851 to come in.

Our previous M0851 Panama, we found we could turn into a hobo-style in the vein of the Super Douper Hats as offered at Secret Location on Water Street, by wearing while walking in the rain.

It's a beautiful feeling to wear a Panama in the rain. The wide brim, protecting, much better than an umbrella.

You will seen then how a Panama Hat looks before the molding and stiffening process, without having to visit a Superior Store.
