Directors,
They say a yaught is a hole in the water, you throw your money into. With the Magico S5 Mk II Loudspeaker ($ USD), they at least give you a bucket.
Many would say this is a bucket-list loudspeaker, or at least one to listen to.
Now that loudspeakers have focused on acoustics (on the inside at least) you will see them using a lot of plastic. Because of these choices (we prefer wood), plastic and metal, we have lost interest in them.
They're just a bunch of equations, and the physics is uninteresting then (to us). That is, the physics of the interior of a loudspeaker, which is a great, great topic.
Like the Yamaha NS-5000M Loudspeaker ($ USD) (which uses objects like wine decanters.... again, hence no interest...), the Magico S5 Mk II Loudspeaker ($ USD) eschews an aesthetic taste (though the top is SOP and the flat front is nice) in it's inside and on it's out.
Actually the NS-5000M is quite nice, though the interior, boring. :D
