The Sennheiser Orpheus 2 ($ USD) is a funny headphone. It only looks good in the advertisements, with the nice cracked black marble. As a product, in white, it looks utterly stupid. It's about the most reverse product. You could wait.
A friend mentioned the frequency response of the Sennheiser HD-600 Headphone. It cued us off that the frequency response of headphones is poor.
The frequency response of the Sennhesier Orpheus 2 is 8 Hz to 100 kHz. It's remarkable, but not as good as 4 Hz. Likewise, one could expect 200 kHz in a headphone. It's remarkable in that it's as good as the Sanken CO-100K Microphone ($ USD) with a little more bass.
Let's get started by looking at the Frequency Response Chart of the Atomic Floyd Power Jax ($ USD).

The Sennheiser HD 600 Headphone
In terms of distortion, the Sennheiser is rated at 0.1% at 100 dB. 100 dB is not a lot. Is no audio product better?
Now, $40,000.00 USD is not a lot for a headphone. That is only 10x more than the Audeze LCD-4 ($4,000.00 USD).
Would you buy the Orpheus 2 by Sennheiser?
