Other than Cello Music & Film Systems and Mark Levinson, working at such, AV123 is one of the only stories of genuine innovation in Hi Fi.
Working with a variety of designers, they produced a variety of products, working out of the Brazilian Rainforest for a good supply of both hardwood and cheap manufacturing capability.
For a mere $2,000.00 USD for example, they sold the AV123 Strata Mini Loudspeaker ($2,000.00 USD) to you.

We would not be remiss to say that that this is not the same quality (in the bass) as the Genesis 5.1 or 5.3 Loudspeaker ($23,500.00 USD), but it is very much decor friendly in the Roger Sanders Sound System 10C ($14,000.00 USD) or ... 10D ($15,000.00 USD) way : you could say it's a cross between the Sanders 10C/D and the Jamo Reference R909 ($18,900.00 AUD) ... if you will.
Let's look at the AV123 Catalogue.
They produced the LS6 Loudspeaker ($3,000.00 USD) for $2,995.00 USD. What an amazing speaker, in that you could get into a line-source for $3,000. Not only that, but they offered a step up ($5,999.00 USD) in the LS9 Loudspeaker ($5,999.00 USD) so you could have a near-reference source for those that could not afford the money. They had a charity scandal. This was as high as they went.
They produced the Onyx Rocket RS-1000 ($2,799.00 USD) which was nice in a Fidelity Acoustics RFM-3 Loudspeaker ($ CDN) way, along with NHT 3.3 Loudspeaker ($ USD) way.
You could also say that they predated the look of the Sonus Faber Amati Futura ($ USD) in this model.
