Katana

We have reviewed the Gemme Tanto and found it to be remarkable. We are currently listening to the Vivace and while different, is equally as remarkable in its own way.

In the meantime, we were advised of a new model from Gemme that may prove to be another benchmark in speaker world. The new Katana will use ceramic drivers. Yes, there are already highly reviewed speakers (and highly priced) that use ceramic, but they do not have the Vflex technology and the ingeniously engineered and built cabinetry by Gemme that  ads so much to their wonderful sound. Look at those curves!

The Katana's will also sport Mundorf Supreme capacitors and Goertz Copper Foil inductors will be offered in piano black lacquer.

Both the Tanto and the Vivace  offer extraordinary low bass performance, but the new Katana, we are told, we improve even on that that. In addition, the bass will be adjustable to enable versatile room tuning. Three connectors will be included for each speaker for bi-amp/wiring, but also for high end contouring to further match them to user's rooms.
