Nubert

For those that wish a little extension, the nuVero 14 (28 – 25,000 Hz) by Nubert goes deeper than the Monitor Audio Silver. At 1940 per speaker, it goes deeper in your wallet, too. You'll find the styling moves away from the Totem Element Earth look, and towards the Tuxedo of the Dynaudio Confidence range. Its squab feet inspire confidence.

We find it interesting that the model number is 1/2 that of the lowest frequency it reproduces. Another interesting thing about this speaker is that it offers the German brown (mocca) colour choice as a standard finish, besides gloss.

While we find the mid-range a little trim, we find nothing un-attractive about this loudspeaker. It's particularly interesting how Nubert mounts its nuVero 14 tweeter. Mounted slightly to the right, it offers so distinction from the pack, like a Mitt Romney, perhaps.
