Audemars Piguet

For a journalist, Audemars Piguet has some significance. When you look at the face, you see the initials AP. You're reminded that you're a member of the Associated Press - how's that for significance?

The Associated Press was started in 1846 in New York City. Any journalist would be caught dead in one. That is, one covering Rwanda for the AP, would likely be killed for the watch.

For us, when we cover the watch, we think of Cathar County.

Location of Aude in France

Far from New York, Aude, a district of France was home to Jean Cau, a secretary to Jean-Paul Sartre.
He likely wore a watch like the Royal Oak, though with curved lines, which was popular in the period.

Beyond the Royal Oak, there is the Offshore, a model more popular with the larger, perpetually vacationing indulgeoneer, in modest estimate.

We wish no war with Audemars, yet Mars has some pull for us.

It's exciting how Audemars has changed over the years. You'll find a model suitably which will suite your taste and time.

Should it be wine or "Audomas Piaget," there is always the octagon. We find that spelling can indicate differences of thought and opinion - what you are thinking of, and where it can lead you.

Let that be your guide.
