Revel Ultima Salon 2: A Monitor

KEF Blade: Cute, but not a Contender! (Hi Fi).

If you wish to make pop music, the Revel Ultima Salon 2 is a good choice (psst).

At $22,000 USD a pair (roughly $10,000 used), plus $6000 for a pair of Anthem M1's ($6895.00 USD), you'll have a monitoring system.

Otherwise, you can choose a pair of Sennheiser HD800 headphones ($1600 USD), and the SPL Phonitor 2 headphone amplifier ($1899 USD).*

By monitoring system, we mean a system capable of producing sound you will hear at a concert. The same relevant SPL, and general quality.

You won't hear trumpets as trumpets, and neither will you on a speaker like the $30,000 KEF Blade.
For that you will need a speaker like the $180,000 Grande Utopia*.
