You might-think of upping the game with an Auralic Taurus Mk 2 ($1899 USD) amplifier, Auralic Vega DAC ($3499 USD), and more $300.00 cables, but the extra power will turn your great LCD-3 into a speaker equivalent, and rattle the things off your head.
The $2500 system price is about equivalent to what you would pay for a Stax Omega 2 present version (007 Mk II)* ($2895 CDN at Pats Audio Art), so you will be getting into the audio world, fairly well.
The equivalent price of a Dunhill sports coat, you might to wear to lunch at some place like West Oak. Recommended.
