Marten Coltrane Supreme II Högtalaren, Marten.
Jeff Fritz in his March 1st article, "Hits and Misses at CES 2014," makes the point that his listening to the Marten Coletrane II Loudspeaker ($450,000 USD) should of been "transcendent."

But just what is transcendent?

Let us take the dictionary definition as it applies to Theology:  "transcending the universe" 1. Certainly the look of the loudspeaker has something of that potential. Of the accompanying amplifiers, also (Pass Labs XS300). They are reminiscent of Frank Herbert's Dune (1984). The robust ultra-palatial sets of Giorgio Desideri would somehow practically suit.

Many listeners, listening to John Coltrane, would have likely balked.

When we first saw the Marten Coltrane (Supreme) II, we were not impressed.
