It's rare to find value in hi fi so this year, our product of the year award goes to two very relevant items: A DAC (D3), and a integrated headphone amplifier (Olympus).
Perhaps we have photography on our mind to choose such items. Olympus makes a great camera (we have one, unused), and Cannon makes a D3.
In actuality, we're a big enthusiast of Greek culture, so the name "Olympus" appealed to our sensibilities.
"There's our Mount Olympus," we thought to ourselves, having taken up weightlifting, to be able to lift a side of Grand Utopia EM's.
